In December of 2023, I was looking for a new hobby that will consume my entire life. Then BOOM, I found crochet. Actually it wasnt that fast. I had tried knitting in the past but that was a little too complicated for my brain to pick up. I tried running, yoga, EVERYTHING, but nothing was scratching that itch I needed. I was looking for something that I can do anywhere throughout the whole year that also calmed my stress and anxiety levels. I was scrolling on tiktok one day and saw a video of someone teaching crochet to beginners. The way they explained it made sooooooooo much sense and made me want to buy everything I needed to start. So I did! I went straight to Micheal's and bought a crochet hook set, yarn, and the sweet thing about Michael's is that they have free crochet patterns to take…so I took all of them. I am so happy for Tik-Tok College and YouTube University for giving me the skills I needed to advance my crocheting skills. 

Honestly, crocheting changed my life. Not in the cliché way but in a forreal way. When I started crocheting I was at a really low point mentally but the repetitive hand movements relaxed my over thinking brain. After I completed my first project, even though it looked atrocious, it made me feel so accomplished, and it didn't help that my friends and family were hyping me up. It's their fault that I got so confident to start tackling big projects like dresses and blouses. I am still very much a beginner crocheter but, I have gained the skills to create pieces of wearable clothing that I wear almost every day. I crochet all day everyday. I wake up, crochet. I have a break at work, crochet. It’s so serious I tattooed my favorite crochet scissors on my wrist! 

When I started wearing my crochet pieces out in public, I was getting compliments left to right. I was lovinging it, I was feeling myself. I started making pieces for my friends and family and whenever they were in public they'd get compliments too. After over 6 months of people begging me to start selling my crochet pieces I finally did it. In May of 2025, Enyth crochet was born. Enyth is actually my middle name so I have my mother to thank for that.  I created Enyth Crochet because when I wear my crochet clothing I feel confident and proud and I wanted to share that feeling with others.
